This Winter break has been one of the best that I can remember. My girlfriend came back from studying abroad, which was amazing. I also had over three weeks of being at home, and enjoying all the benefits of having Mom's cooking, and time to relax....not to mention Christmas. The only caveat has been the fact that my MCAT test date is less than 4 months away. For those who don't know what it is, or how important it is, look it up. It is essential to medical school admissions, and is one hell of a test. General chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, physics, reading comprehension, and writing skills are all tested on a computer based test. I have started studying, and am in awe of how much material there is on this test. The Kaplan review book alone is well over 1,000 pages. I know it is more of a "thinking" test than a "memorization" test, but hormones still need to be memorized and formulas committed to memory. It is going to be a long process.
